Overheating is common on laptops and many laptop user have experienced on this. Sometimes older laptops overheat due to internal hardware issues that can not be fixed some times without replacing internal hardware. 









 Most of type of overheating occurs due to the lack of adequate airflow in the machine. Excessive heat does not indicate serious problems, As there are several ways to cool down the laptops. 


 This is ways to keep your laptop from overheating. 


 Update new drivers and patches.


    First need to update drivers and patches. you can download drivers and patches from manufacturer website. You must update bios and power management driver. When you try to update BIOS, must need to full charge in battery.

Do not use on the Bed. 


     When use the laptop on bed or mattress air vent will be block. Pillows and Bed covers block the air intake vents on the bottom of the laptop, greatly reducing air flow and allowing the temperature inside the case to grow to damaging levels.

Check and clean fan and air flow.


Whenever you feel your laptop warming up, keep your hand next to the air flow (Fan). if you feel hot air coming out of the air vent, you will know if the laptop fan is working properly. if you feel very little or no air, dust has block on the fan or fan has broken. You can open the machine and blow dust with relatively compressed air. If the fan is broken, look for a new replacement. and If your laptop is old more than 2 year replace Thermal Past, it may be dry. If opening a laptop is not easy for you, get a help from professional to do it.

Lack of adequate ventilation under the laptop can cause overheating. This can be solved by lifting your computer and placing a small book under the machine. In addition to using a book, it is better to buy a laptop cooling mat to provide adequate ventilation under your machine. There are a variety of cooling covers, you can buy one online

Constant airflow in your laptop prevents your fans from running at full speed. When your fan is running at high speeds, it means that the CPU is working hard and it can get hot. You can control the fan speed by installing programs like Speed Fan for Windows.

Lastly, exposure to direct hot sun, especially in the summer, can cause your laptop to overheat. And laptop screen also will damage High temperatures can cause the computer to overheat, causing the battery to expand and damage the hard drive. Therefore, you should keep your laptop in the shade whenever the temperature rises. When your laptop shuts down as a result of overheating and experiences a severe slowdown, it is advisable to repair it as soon as possible.
